banner I have been a Lego League coach since 2007. This year, I wanted to document the season to give rookie coaches a resource to help them through to competition. The process can be intense, but it can also be a lot of fun for you and your team.

I hope to cover enough through my posts, but if I leave anything out, please feel free to leave a comment, or contact me.

Good Luck!

The FIRST Lego League competition season is in full force the next few weekends. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Lego League teams, rookie or not, good luck in their regional/qualifying tournaments.

Minnesota has 3 tournaments this weekend and 5 next weekend. I’ll be reffing at one of the tournaments next Saturday, Dec 11 and attending a tournament on Dec 12 to cheer on teams from my daughter’s school. I’ll be wearing a Santa hat and a Minnesota Vikings sweatshirt when not reffing, so flag me down and say, “hi,” if you see me.

All the teams have worked hard the last few months, so coaches, remind your kids to have fun above all else. If you’ve never been to a competition, it is a sight to behold. And an experience you won’t soon forget.

Good luck!

We’re pretty excited for next Saturday, the 11th!

We got a chance to present at Kiwanis this week – and we get our TShirts today with the logo they created on it. It is amazing at this time how each week built up and here we are ready for tournament!! Woot!

Thanks to The Coach, and the commenters here that helped us along and stay straight!
